Since then IIW-India has been serving the cause of welding industry through its 13 branches throughout India.  The Institute is a non-profit making organization registered under section 25 of The Companies Act 1956 and is also registered under section12 A of Income Tax Act 1961, as an Institution for charitable purposes.  The Institute having its head office at Kolkata, and 13 branches at major cities in the country, viz.
