The Indian Institute of Welding The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India), a representative body of welding professionals in India was founded on 22nd of Apri11966. It is involved in the advancement of welding science and technology within the country by disseminating development and knowledge in the field of welding and allied technology through seminars, workshops training programme etc., providing technical guidance and consultation to industries in welding, conducting associate membership examination and awarding diploma and certificates to members and publishing technical journals and periodicals in the field of welding. IIW-India has been recognized as an Autho-rised National Body (ANB) to carry out certification programmes of the International Institute of Welding.
