Objective
|
The workshop aims at building awareness about best TQM practices
and trains the participants on the seven basic tools of quality with
real life examples. This workshop will develop the skills among the
participants about solving the shop floor level or operational level
quality and service delivery issues and problems successfully basic
tools of quality. This will help in improving quality and productivity
which in turn leading to higher customer satisfaction.

About the Faculty: Dr. Manjunath VS holds
three Masters Degrees - M.Tech in Manufacturing Science, Masters in
Human Resource Management and Engineering and Masters Degree in Foreign
Trade. He is shortly completing his PhD in the area of Human Resource
Management. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has more than 20
years of industry and teaching experience. He has worked in Bharat
Electronics, Mysore Thermo Electric Limited and John Fowler India
Limited in the areas of Production planning and quality control. At
present he is working as Professor and Director of NITTE School of
Management. He is a certified Six sigma Black Belt and handles several
consulting assignments in the areas of TQM and Six sigma.
He has conducted about 50 workshops in the areas of TQM,
Seven tools of quality, Six Sigma, Lean Management, Personality
Development, Supervisory Development, Supply Chain Management, etc. and
has trained more than 1000 executives. He has also trained more than 500
faculty members of Polytechnic, Engineering and Management.
