Course Overview

Welding is a critical activity in heavy industry fabrication, construction, and maintenance of industrial complexes. This two-day technical course is designed to enhance your career and prepare you to become a welding coordinator in the future. A welding coordinator in the fabrication industry requires a combination of technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry expertise.

Faculty

The course will be led by industry experts with extensive experience in welding and related fields:

  1. Mr. A. K. Sharma

    • Qualifications: ME (Industrial Metallurgy) from M.S. University, Baroda; Diploma IWE/EWE from TWI-Cambridge, UK; ISO 9712 Level-3 in RT, UT, MT & PT; IRCA Registered Principal Auditor in QMS-2015.

    • Experience: Retired Corporate Quality Manager from Petrofac International LLC (UAE), Sharjah. Currently a Technical Expert & SME at Bureau Veritas, Australia.

    • Certifications: Lead Auditor (IIW-ANBCC) for ISO 3834 Certification; Lead Auditor for BV (SCCA) for certification of structural steel fabrication per Australian Standard AS 5131; Technical Expert for Dubai Accreditation Council (DAC) for ISO 17020.

  2. Mr. Abhisheek Vyas

    • Qualifications: ME (Welding Technology) from M.S. University, Baroda; IWE.

    • Experience: Over 10 years in the welding industry, working in segments such as pipelines, petrochemicals, oil & gas, thermal, and nuclear power. Currently a Technical Manager at voestalpine Böhler Welding India Ltd.

  3. Mr. Sebastian Fernandes

    • Qualifications: B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Mumbai (1979); Master’s degree in Quality Management; IRCA Registered Principal Quality Auditor; EWE/IWE; ASQ Six Sigma Green; Welding Inspector; API UI Precondition; B Gas Painting Inspector; API Lead Auditor.

    • Experience: Member of ASNT, contributed to reviewing ASNT training course documents, and developed training and examination materials for ASNT, ASQ, and The Welding Institute UK. Conducted training programs in NDT and welding in the Middle East, USA, and China.

Registration Fees

  • IIW Members (Full Course): ₹4,720 (Inclusive of 18% GST)

  • Non-IIW Members (Full Course): ₹5,900 (Inclusive of 18% GST)

  • IIW Member (Per Standard): ₹1,350 (Inclusive of 18% GST)

  • Non-IIW Member (Per Standard): ₹1,500 (Inclusive of 18% GST)
