IIW India Foundation : KEMPPI - WELDNET WORK : Young Welding Engineers Competition 2020 THE INDIAN INSTITUTE OF WELDING ( IIW-India ) was incorporated on 22rd April 1966 at Kolkata to foster the welding science, technology and engineering in India. Since then IIW-India has been serving the cause of welding industry through its 14 branches / chapters throughout India. The Institute is a non-profit making organization registered under section 25 of The Companies Act 1956 and is also registered under section12 A of Income Tax Act 1961, as an Institution for charitable purposes. The Institute having its head office at Kolkata, and branches at 14 major cities in the country, viz. Kolkata, New Delhi, Jamshedpur, Baroda, Bhubaneswar, Bhilai, Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Cochin and Tiruchirappalli. The Institute has celebrated its "GOLDEN JUBILEE " during 2016. With the intention of motivating the young engineers who are engaged in the field of we
