Mumbai is the home of many world-class research institutes like BARC,  NMRL and IIT-Bombay and leading industries like Larsen & Toubro,  Godrej, Reliance, Mazagon Dock shipbuilders Limited etc. It also is the home to many national and international  Design/Engineering/Inspection firms. Within three hours of driving distance is the industrial hub of Pune-Chakan which has many iconic names like Mercedes, TATA, BAJAJ, Mahindra, General Motors, John  Deere etc. The industrial belt of Surat, Ankleshwar, Vadodara,  Ahmedabad, Dahej and  Sanand in Gujarat where every day a new industrial plant is set up is also not too far.  We expect that the seminar papers will have a balanced representation from all aspects of welding science and technology and its allied topics. The audiences/delegates are also expected from a wide variety of backgrounds making for a stimulating experience for everyone. A large number of awards will be given to the papers adjudged as the best in their category. These awards will be presented in the NWS 2021 inaugural ceremony.
