Magnetic particle testing and NDT inspection of turbine casting at Himachal Pradesh, India


Trinity NDT conducted magnetic particle testing and NDT inspection of turbine part-throat cover, top cover, bottom cover and throat ring of inner diameter 5000mm, casting of Japan make for detecting both surface and subsurface crack detection at Himachal Pradesh site in India. The technicians used  yoke type technique with wet magnaflux make non-fluorescent particles for the inspection. Testing revealed no discontinuities.
